lksotomotif.com - Mesin Toyota berkode 2NR-FE berkubikasi 1.5 L atau  1496 cc, yang mana mesin ini  adalah varian dari mesin seri NR. Sri NR pertama kali diperkenalkan pada kuartal 4 tahun 2010 yang digunakan pada  Toyota Etios. 

Ini adalah mesin baru Toyota setelah 8 tahun tidak menggunakan VVT-i, yang mana hal ini dilakukan untuk low-cost Toyota Etios. Inovasi baru yang dibuat dan diperkenalkan pada mesin ini adalah integrasi dari exhaust manifold ke kepala silinder untuk mengurangi emisi. Versi Dual VVT-i pertama kali digunakan pada Toyota Avanza.
